FUN opened up last night’s MTV Movie Awards with an energetic performance of their breakout hit “We Are Young,” and two band members rocked stylish glasses on the red carpet with styles totally reminding us of our Ricky and FDR’s… Looking good, boys!
Later on, Hollywood’s favorite party monster introduced a montage of booze-fueled movie scenes looking dapper and relatively sober in a pair of shades similar to our Avery’s.
In other revenge of the nerds news, we’re so stoked that a bespectacled character won The BEST HERO; congrats to Daniel Radcliffe / Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two. Here’s a twist on his iconic eyewear style with our Andy’s in clear.
And finally, MTV paid tribute to the ever so sexy in glasses Johnny Depp with a MTV Generation Award – a good excuse to check out the Johnny Depp in glasses inspiration board we published back in February 2011. He’s the epitome of geek chic!
