We do not have any stand-alone locations, but now through the end of January you can see and try the glasses in person at our pop up shop at West Hollywood boutique TenOverSix. It is located at 8425 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90069. We'll soon announce more pop up venues in other cities... Stay tuned!

Our frame materials, parts and lenses come from Italy, Japan, Korea and China. While most of our frames are manufactured in China.

Yes, all of the frames we show on the men's and women's sections can be made with just about any prescriptions. Frames are also available as sunglasses. Some small limitations do apply, such as a strong RX or size of the frame. And if you wish you can purchase the frame only with no lens.

If you don’t already have one, please seek out an eye doctor or eye care professional for an exam. They will supply you with a prescription which you can use on our site.

Just ask your eye doctor or eye care professional to send you a copy via email or fax. If you have a problem, you can e-mail us at Lookmatic help desk.
Our doctors may be able to help guide you through the process. It is also useful you to ask for your doctor or eye care professional to confirm your P.D. (pupillary distance)
This is the measurement between the two pupils of your eyes. If you don't have it, don't worry. We do use an average P.D. based on general statistics.

You can't send in the prescription later, however you can buy frames on our site and then take them into your local optical store and have your needed RX put in (the lenses are often the least expensive part of glasses so this should not be a significant cost).

It would be easier for your doctor to send you a copy of the RX as they generally prefer not to send out your personal information to third parties. However, if they are willing to do so, then yes, please just have them email it to customerservice@lookmatic.com

Yes, we will keep your order and RX on file, but you will need to fill in your RX again onto a new order form since each frame may be different.

Just about all prescription forms are exact or similar for filling an RX.
Whatever form your Doctor provides will be satisfactory for you to order from our site.

No, Sorry - although many contact lenses are the same as the eyeglass RX, there are enough that aren't and we prefer to have a copy of your actual eyeglass prescription

Yes, of course. Our own quality control lab technicians check each and every RX order before it is produced as well as prior to shipment. We also align the frame so that in almost 100% of cases there is no need for further adjustment.

We use a variety of lenses depending on the prescription. We suggest our standard mid thin CR30 plastic style lens with anti-scratch and anti-reflection coating.We also offer a polycarbonate lens (PC) which is slightly thinner, just about unbreakable and great for active use such as recreational sports. We also offer a hi-index lens for stronger prescription lenses.This lens comes in a 1.61 Index and is super thin with a 1.67 Index. Both come with a protective anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating.
